Privacy Policy & Terms of Use for Huddle Map

Overview
Huddle Map lets a group of people share their live location while heading to a shared destination.
What We Collect
- Account info — name and avatar; email address if signed in with Google or Apple. Guest accounts need no personal details.
- Live location — collected only while a huddle map is open, and shared only with members of that huddle.
- Huddle content — destinations, stops, and hazard reports you create.
How We Use It
Solely to run the service: showing your position to your huddle, computing routes and arrival status. We don't sell your data and we show no ads.
Map, search, and routing requests go to third-party services (Google Maps, OpenStreetMap Nominatim, OSRM), which receive only the coordinates/search text needed.
Retention & Deletion
- Sign-in sessions expire after 7 days.
- Huddle creators can delete their huddles at any time.
- You can permanently delete your account and all associated data via Settings → Delete account.
Terms of Use
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Huddle Map.
- Never interact with the app while driving — ask a passenger, or use voice guidance only.
- Location, routes, ETAs, and hazard reports are best-effort estimates and may be inaccurate. Use your own judgment; the service is provided "as is" without warranty.
- Only share invite codes with people you trust — anyone with the code can see huddle members' live locations.
- We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or other users.
